EU Battery Passport (DPP)

Mandatory digital identity for every battery >2kWh

From 18 February 2027, every EV and industrial battery placed on the EU market must carry a digital passport with full lifecycle data — carbon footprint, recycled content, SoH history, and performance metrics. Without it, your batteries cannot legally enter the EU market.
