Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy defines the permitted and prohibited uses of the Arctura platform. It protects all users, NeurFlow's infrastructure, and third parties. This policy is part of the Arctura Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use
Arctura is intended for the following purposes:
- Operational management of vehicle fleets, marine vessels, and energy systems
- Telemetry data collection, analysis, and visualization
- Predictive maintenance and AI-powered analytics
- Alerting and reporting functions (Slack, Teams, dashboard, TV wallboard)
- API integrations with your own systems (REST, WebSocket)
3. Prohibited Use
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- ×Illegal activity: Using the Service for criminal activity, money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions evasion.
- ×Unauthorized surveillance: Tracking individuals without their knowledge or without a proper legal basis (GDPR, labor legislation).
- ×Safety-critical decisions without human oversight: Using Arctura's AI recommendations as the sole basis for decision-making in situations where human life is at risk (e.g., autonomous traffic without supervision).
- ×System abuse: Hacking, denial-of-service attacks, reverse engineering, circumventing API rate limits, or unauthorized access to other users' data.
- ×Data misuse: Selling, sharing, or using telemetry data for competitive intelligence without the consent of the asset owner.
- ×Weapons systems: Using Arctura as part of weapons systems, autonomous weapons, or civilian surveillance systems.
4. API Usage and Load
- API calls are rate-limited per tenant (exact limits depend on usage and agreement)
- Automated scraping or bulk data collection without a contract is prohibited
- Intentional circumvention of rate limits is prohibited
5. Security Obligations
The Customer agrees to:
- Keep credentials and API keys confidential
- Use strong passwords and MFA (recommended)
- Report security incidents immediately to security@neurflow.fi
- Comply with the NIS2 Directive requirements, if applicable
6. Consequences
Violation of these terms may result in:
- A warning and request for remediation
- Temporary account restriction
- Immediate termination of the agreement without refund
- Criminal or civil legal proceedings
7. Reporting
If you observe activity that violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@neurflow.fi. All reports are handled confidentially.
